Job Title: Claims Officer – Health

Reporting to: Health Operations Manager

Job Purpose

To manage medical insurance claims and Healthcare provider accounts efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, service standards and service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Claims Assessment: Review and verify submitted medical claims for completeness, accuracy and eligibility
• Process claims within agreed turnaround times
• Liaise with healthcare providers and policyholders
• Identify and investigate potentially fraudulent claims
• Maintain accurate claims records and reports

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Health Sciences, Insurance or related field
• Experience in health insurance claims processing is an advantage
